Something not everyone knows about me...
“When I was 9 years old Bernard Cribbins came to open our village fete and I had my photograph taken sitting on his knee – although in this day and age that is probably not something I should shout about!”
Location: The Mortgage Broker Ltd
Personal Information: I have worked in Financial Services for over 25 years joining The Mortgage Broker Ltd as a Mortgage Adviser in 2007. In 2010 I took on the role of Office Manager progressing to Operations Manager in 2019. I have 2 children who keep me on my toes. It is a pleasure to watch them grow and develop even if they are doing it too quickly.
If I won the Euromillions lottery I would: I would like to open my own deli/café on the North Norfolk Coast but I would make sure I employed a good manager so I felt comfortable taking time off to go and explore the world too.
First full time job: I started working for Barclays Bank in 1990 making the Branch Manager’s tea and franking the post. Progressing from the back office to the counter and then on to mortgage advising in 1996.
I love my job because: It is never dull, with different challenges to deal with everyday
Rude and discourteous people, limes (unless they are in my G&T strangely) and so called ‘reality’ TV shows.
I would love the opportunity to go back and explore more of Canada and New Zealand as I only visited each country for a short time and they both have so much beautiful scenery that I have not yet seen.
We are lucky enough to have a BBQ expert in the household, so most meals are cooked this way. Pork belly done on the rotisserie and BBQ ribs are my favourite.
