Professional Bio: I have always had a passion for helping people and at its core, this is what mortgage advising is. Equipping clients with the tools and knowledge to confidently step into the next phase of their life. Whether it’s a first-time buyer finding their dream home, a home mover upsizing so little ones can have more space to run around, or an investor adding to their portfolio. I’m here to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. My background in finance and economics has provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge, enabling me to quickly grasp the complexities of the mortgage world and navigate the ever changing markets.

Personal Information: I’m Adeleen, a name derived from combining two of my Grandma’s first names. I was born and have lived in Luton my whole life until moving to Bedford with my husband. We have 2 young children to keep us on our toes as well as a niece and two nephews (I imagine that number will keep increasing!). We’re quite a competitive family so growing up our parents enrolled us in all sorts of activities, my favourites being football, tennis, swimming and chess.

Something not everyone knows about me: Much to my mother’s dismay, I love a good adrenaline rush. I have sky dived, bungee jumped and dived off rock cliffs into the sea.

If I won the Euro millions lottery I would: I’d treat my family to a group holiday, donate to a few good causes close to my heart, and seek a Financial Adviser for some sound investment advice. I’d also buy a hut in the Maldives for myself and my husband.

First Full time job: It was at a market research call centre.
I love my job because: Every day presents new and unique challenges to overcome. I enjoy problem solving and providing clients with good news once their mortgage has offered. Celebrating with them (especially in particularly difficult cases) when the mortgage has completed is the best part of the job!

Likes: Binge watching a good series! (The Americans, Game of Thrones, The Blacklist, Handmaids Tale, Snowfall, Hijack etc.) Travelling, experiencing different cultures, eating all the food we shouldn’t and spending time with friends and family.

Dislikes: Spiders and being cold (I’ve had many debates over AC / heating in the past!).

Favourite destination: The island of Jamaica where my parents are from; I love the culture, food, fruit punch, beaches and the people.

Favourite food: Ackee & saltfish and rice or Turkish.
