Professional Bio: I started working for Payplan helping clients that were in financial difficulties for all kinds of reasons. Being able to help and support someone who has reached rock bottom and wants to take control of their life again, has real satisfaction with it.
The company later opened a mortgage arm which helped people with their current mortgages or get onto the property ladder, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I did the administration on my own mortgage (my broker went on holiday when the application was submitted) so I was able to combine my knowledge from Payplan within the mortgage world and my passion started from there and has grown day by day ever since.

Personal Information: I live with my Formula One mechanic husband in Lincolnshire. Prior to working at The Mortgage Broker, I worked in a Mortgage Brokerage that was the sister company to Payplan so I specialised in helping clients get a mortgage that have credit issues, whether it be missed payments, defaults, CCJs, Debt Management Plans (current and settled) IVAs or discharged Bankruptcy.

Something not everyone knows about me: I love to craft. I have a craft room at home where I sew, draw, paint, and make resin art, basically, I’ll try my hand at anything that allows me to be creative.

If I won the Euro millions lottery I would: Get a bigger craft room! As well as paying off all my family and friend’s mortgages.

First Full time job: Office Junior for a Mortgage Adviser.

I love my job because: Being able to own your own home is the biggest goal in life that most of us want to achieve. I love that my job allows me to share my knowledge and guide and support clients through that process. It’s such a rewarding experience to be a part of.

Likes: Cooking/baking, reading, gardening.

Dislikes: Nuts, mainly peanuts.

Favourite destination: Emma Bridgewater Factory, Stoke-on-Trent, this is my idea of heaven.

Favourite food: Homemade Lasagne.
