Personal Information: I live in beautiful Edinburgh with my wife and two of my boys. The oldest has flown the nest! I’m a keen golfer and when I’m not on the course or with my family, you can find me under a kettlebell, at a gig or in front of my Playstation! I’ve worked in financial services since 2002 and I get a real kick from helping clients realise their dreams.
Something not everyone knows about me: Before I was in financial services, I worked in a card shop, was a welder, a builder’s labourer and fitted ducting. I’ve been around!
If I won the Euro millions lottery I would: Buy a huge house in St Andrews and never leave there!
First Full time job: I was a welder for an agricultural engineers firm.
I love my job because: I get to help people every day. I get to share the joy with them when they achieve their goals. I also get to work for a really great company with great people who all want each other to succeed.
Likes: Family, friends, golf, Hibernian Football Club, music, fitness.
Dislikes: Incorrectly stacked dishwashers, washing the car, DIY.
Favourite destination: Anywhere in the Scottish Highlands but Glencoe in particular.
Favourite food: Steak. Closely followed by scrambled eggs, avocado and chilli jam on sourdough toast. Trust me!
My ultimate 4 dinner party guests would be:
Kurt Cobain
Severiano Ballesteros
Professor Brian Cox
Andy Murray
