Professional Bio: I started my career with TMBL as the general insurance adviser, however after wanting a new challenge I have been advising clients on their mortgage needs since 2017, and I have to say it’s the best decision I ever made. TMBL have been a great support over the years and not only have I been nominated for a few awards, I was a finalist (Broker: First Time Buyer) at the British Mortgage Awards in 2021 and a winner (Mortgage Adviser of the Year) at the Women’s Recognition Awards in 2022!
Personal Information: A very happy, chatty and positive girl with a love for music (and biscuits!) I couldn’t function without either to be fair. The radio is always on in the office and I’m always singing along, and there is usually a packet of biscuits on my desk, much to the delight of my colleagues. Unless I’m on health kick but even then, what’s a custard cream between friends?
Something not everyone knows about me: My partner and his two children call me Slugger’ or Slug’ for short. I can’t really explain why, something to do with a baseball phrase although none of us are into baseball! It’s not the most flattering of names at all, yet I still answer to it!
If I won the Euro millions lottery I would: Buy my parents their own house and purchase some investment properties. Oh, and some retail therapy would be a must.
First Full time job: Admin assistant at a local insurance broker.
I love my job because: I really enjoy making people happy! Whether it’s helping families to get their dream/forever home or supporting first time buyers to get onto the property ladder or supporting professional landlords expand their portfolio; it is such a rewarding feeling knowing you have made an impact on someone’s life.
Likes: Sunshine, holidays and a glass of crisp, cold, pale rose wine (or two..)
Dislikes: Rudeness, people talking with their mouths full and milky tea.
Favourite destination: The Maldives, I can confirm heaven on Earth does exist.
Favourite food: CHOCOLATE!
