The Mortgage Broker (St Neots) Ltd came in 2nd Place at the prestigious British Mortgage Awards that took place on the 4th July 2013 in London. Mary Chamberlain, who has been with the company for over 5 years, was shortlisted in the Best Broker First Time Buyer Category and narrowly missed out on winning the coveted trophy. Darren Pescod, MD of The Mortgage Broker said Second place is a fantastic achievement, and we are all very proud of both Mary and the company for being nominated and recognised as one of the countrys leading brokers for first time buyers. Mary Chamberlain, mortgage adviser at The Mortgage Broker (St Neots) Ltd had the following to say after the award ceremony Recognition from the British Mortgage Awards means that first time buyers have peace of mind that their mortgage is in safe hands and that they have someone looking after their interests throughout the home buying process. Its a huge step for anyone, buying their first home, and to feel that you have an adviser with you every step of the way to deal with all the loose ends and the paperwork is very reassuring. Obviously Im a little disappointed I didnt win the overall category but coming runner up in a nationwide competition with over 10,000 mortgage brokers is some achievement.
